NoFloods Sandguard Deployment Guide
Each barrier weighs between 3-13 kg approximately, allowing for easy positioning of the barriers. The locking mechanism is easy and intuitive, allowing for rapid installation. After installation, always inspect the barrier thoroughly to ensure that each module is properly.

Site Inspection & Planning
- Assess the area for potential flood risk and ground conditions.
- Determine and mark the deployment line based on terrain and expected water flow.
- Ensure the surface is as level and debris-free as possible.

Filling and placing of the Sandguard Modules
- Use the NoFloods Sandfiller/Sandfilling machine to fill bags before placement.
- Fill each bag to the recommended level for maximum flexibility and effectiveness.
- Carefully place the filled Sandguard bags along the marked deployment line.
- Align and position bags tightly side by side to ensure a continuous barrier.
- Stack additional layers if required, following the recommended guidance.

Attaching the NoFloods Membrane
- Unroll the NoFloods membrane in front of the NoFloods Sandguard Barrier.
- Attach the membrane to the bags using the designated system.
- Ensure the membrane lies flat against the ground and overlaps correctly for a watertight seal
- Place the NoFloods Weightbelt or alternative weight at the front of the membrane.
NoFloods Sandguard Disassembly Guide
- Carefully detach and roll up the NoFloods membrane.
- Inspect, clean, and store the membrane in a dry, safe place.
- Use lifting equipment or manual handling to raise each bag over a truck, container, or suitable emptying area.
- Open the bottom of each bag to discharge the sand.
- Allow all sand to empty fully; shake if needed to clear remaining contents.
- Inspect bags for damage or wear.
- Fold and pack empty bags for storage or transport.
- Ensure all components are cleaned and stored properly for future use.
